Hernandez, who started the season as the third starting pitcher, pitched in four games, winning two and losing two games with a 5.68 ERA. Notably, he pitched six innings of good pitching with one out and nine strikeouts, contributing to his no-hitter performance by becoming the fourth team in the KBO league.

However, Hernandez felt thigh pain in the game, and a close examination revealed he was diagnosed with an intramural total muscle injury to his right femur.

Hernandez can return to the mound six weeks later at the earliest. He needs substitute starters at least four to five times. Kim Ju-on, who was in the second tier of the pro baseball league, was deployed first, but was substituted early in the game against SSG on Tuesday after garnering one run with four outs and one strikeout in the ⅓ innings.

In the 2024-25 season of the Australian Baseball League (ABL), he played 38 ⅓ innings in 15 games as a starter and bullpen member of the Dnie Blue Sox, with 3 wins, 2 losses and a 2.35 ERA.
